The author is very down-to-earth, honest, and sincere. His faith in God shows through on every page. George describes everyday events throughout his life that have given him the faith and courage to trust in God, no matter what the medical outcome of his diagnosis. The book has numerous references to scripture and other sources that George utilizes in dealing with the crisis. At the same time he pulls no punches, acknowledging the stress and heartbreak and depression his diagnosis created and how, through his faith in God, he and his wife managed. Importantly he acknowledges his belief that God expects him to do everything he and his medical team can do to treat his diagnosis. An excellent book for those undergoing a medical crisis and those supporting someone with a medical crisis.
